New for 2024-2025:
Flex & Float Lessons
Our “Flex & Float” private lessons are 30 minutes of one-on-one time with a teacher, spent in ways that inspire your student to “Flex” their musical abilities. Students are able to CHOOSE for themselves what is learned, or what skills are developed. Each of the four lessons can be used at any time from July 2024 through the end of June 2025, and will “Float” until scheduled for use, at your convenience. Schedule each of the 4 lessons at once, then reschedule as needed.
These private lessons enhance all that is learned in our amazing group lessons, further motivating and engaging students by focusing on their individual interests and goals. See more about our Flex & Float Lessons here.
What you can expect from our Flex and Float lessons:
- One-on-one lessons, focused time with a teacher.
- Scheduled at your convenience throughout the year.
- Individualized materials and instruction catering to each student’s interests, finished with a completed project at the end.
- Included for all students in the School Year and October Start sessions.
- Available for purchase for January and March Start students.
Learn what led us to adding our individual Flex & Float lessons, and how to use them in the video above!

How Does Arrow Academy Compare?
With many options for music lessons for your child, finding the best fit can be overwhelming. The chart shows a variety of teaching philosophies and how they compare with Arrow Academy of Music’s concept based learning philosophy.
What does concept based learning look like? Each lesson teaches something new – because it’s fun to be learning and engaged! Each lesson reviews – because everyone needs to try and receive feedback. Each lesson evaluates because everyone needs accountability to experience that feeling of success.
